Toss Royal Challengers Bangalore chose to bowl v Sunrisers Hyderabad

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli chose to bowl on a hot afternoon in Hyderabad, expecting a dry pitch to be slower in the first half of the match. Sunrisers Hyderabad are led by Bhuvneshwar Kumar again, with regular captain Kane Williamson out with a niggle.

Royal Challengers made one change by bringing in 16-year-old legspinner Prayas Ray Barman, who plays for Bengal in domestic cricket, in place of Navdeep Saini. Barman has played only four T20s so far, having made his debut in the format in February this year. Barman was bought for INR 1.5 crore at the auction, and is the youngest to play an IPL match.

Sunrisers made two changes: allrounder Mohammad Nabi came in for Williamson and Deepak Hooda for Shahbaz Nadeem, who had conceded 36 in three overs against Rajasthan Royals on Friday.

The pitch in Hyderabad showed minimal signs of grass and had plenty of cracks.

Sunrisers Hyderabad: 1 David Warner, 2 Jonny Bairstow (wk), 3 Vijay Shankar, 4 Manish Pandey, 5 Deepak Hooda, 6 Yusuf Pathan, 7 Mohammad Nabi, 8 Rashid Khan, 9 Bhuvneshwar Kumar (capt), 10 Siddarth Kaul, 11 Sandeep Sharma

Royal Challengers Bangalore: 1 Parthiv Patel (wk), 2 Moeen Ali, 3 Virat Kohli, 4 AB de Villiers, 5 Shimron Hetmyer, 6 Shivam Dube, 7 Colin de Grandhomme, 8 Umesh Yadav, 9 Yuzvendra Chahal, 10 Prayas Ray Barman, 11 Mohammed Siraj
