Toss Sri Lanka chose to bat v Pakistan

Sri Lanka won the toss have chosen to bat first, in their maiden day-night Test in Dubai. This is the second time in the series that Dinesh Chandimal has won the toss.

Pakistan are also likely to have batted first, but have made one change to their attack from Abu Dhabi. Left-arm quick Wahab Riaz replaces Hasan Ali, who has a back complaint. Their top seven remains unchanged.

The visitors, meanwhile, have two debutants in this XI. They have strengthened their seam attack, bringing in Lahiru Gamage in place of left-arm wristspinner Lakshan Sandakan, who went wicketless in the first Test. The other change was necessitated by injury. Lahiru Thirimanne, who batted at No. 3 in the first Test, has been ruled out by back stiffness, and Sadeera Samarawickrama comes into the top order.
