West Indies made it two wins from as many ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Group B matches with a convincing 49-run win over Bangladesh.

Hayley Matthews and skipper Stafanie Taylor struck 41 and 40 respectively, sharing an opening stand of 67, while Deandra Dottin whacked 24 off 11 balls and Stacy-Ann King made a quick unbeaten 20 as the Windies posted 148 for four after opting to bat.

And that total proved beyond Bangladesh as they were dismissed for 99 in the 19th over, Taylor taking 3-13, Matthews 2-16 and Dottin 2-17.

In today’s other match, Sri Lanka take on Ireland.
