Virat Kohli Visits Golden Temple, Wagah Border

Virat Kohli opted to pray for divine blessings ahead of the upcoming World Twenty20.

Amritsar: Ahead of the World Twenty20 and Asia Cup, India’s dashing batsman Virat Kohli paid a visit to the Golden Temple with his family. (Read More in Cricket)

Kohli was accompanied by his mother and sister during Friday’s trip, which also included a visit to the Wagah border.

“I felt really good here. I had been planning to visit the Golden Temple for a long time. I felt really good and peaceful here,” Kohli was told reporters.

Kohli who was rested for the recent three-match Twenty20 series at home against Sri Lanka, will return to team for the Asia Cup, which begins in Bangladesh on February 24.

The Golden Temple has been visited by several high-profile cricketers in the past, including Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir and Harbhajan Singh.
