An unbeaten 89-ball 100 from Shahid Yousuf helped Islamabad romp into the final with a seven-wicket win over Khan Research Laboratories at the Gaddafi Stadium. Yousuf’s innings, which included 14 fours, steered Islamabad to their target of 232 with four overs to spare, with support coming from opener Ali Sarfraz (48 off 68) and Sarmad Bhatti, who made an unbeaten 44 off 68 balls. Yousuf and Bhatti added an unbroken 127 for the fourth wicket.

Having been sent in to bat, KRL were in deep trouble at 18 for 4, with the medium-pacer Hasan Ali grabbing three top-order wickets. Shoaib Ahmed (74 off 85) and Saeed Anwar Jr. (54 off 105) came to the rescue with a 104-run fifth-wicket stand, before contributions from Luqman Butt (33 off 34) and Nauman Ali (31 off 13) took KRL to a total of 231 for 9. Hasan finished with figures of 4 for 28 from his ten overs.
